Frosted logo on the Glass

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how to make a glass with frosted logo, text, or any image on it in 3ds max and v-ray?

I have spent hours on the internet trying to find the answer but no luck. There are millions of articles about how to make frosted glass which is easy to do but nothing about making frosted image on the glass. If someone could help me then I would be very grateful !!! I am working on a project at the moment which i have to present it before monday and i really need to make this frosted logo on the screen glass.

in the refraction slot, use a mix material, with the black and white logo in the mix amount slot. Then it's just a case of correctly mapping the bitmap.

Yes you are correct, I had meant refraction glossiness, rather than refraction.

Look for a tutorial on how to make frosted glass, then look for a tutorial of how to place logos in geometry or 'decals'

then mix them together.... ingenuity it is in decline really.
