One of the options I'm exploring, is to move to Canada to pursue a 1 year course in something useful and relevant, and then apply for the PGWPP . I am looking at courses in Architectural Drafting and CADD, since that is a missing link in the daisy chain for me, I'm quite lacking in that department. 6 years in Video game asset making has made me comfortable with modeling. I have already attended the State of Art Academy Masterclass few years ago, so I dont need any more training in lighting rendering and post [only need to practice more!] Here's where I need your help... I've been searching for 1 year programs in Architectural CADD, and so far most of them I've found are private colleges, places with some good and some really bad reviews. My google searches are just all over the place. Believe me, I'm trying. Could you please suggest a few names in your replies, a college or university with ~1 year courses in Architectural CADD or something similar? Thank you in advance! philippelamoureux Posted June 19, 2017 Share Posted June 19, 2017 (edited) I don't know where in Canada you want to go but I'll give you an example of a small college formation in quebec http://www.cvm.qc.ca/formationcontinue/admission/AEC/Documents/2016-2017/PDF%20-%20DessinBatiments.pdf 240h, CAD for buildings, using REVIT. dirt cheap cause it's a public college and it's also financed by the government. We're probably talking something like 250$ for the whole course. This particular one is given in french tho. This one is about 1 year long, CAD drawing intensive course in an English public college.
