  1. Hello everyone, I've been diving deep into optimizing my rendering workflows lately and wanted to open a discussion about hardware choices, particularly regarding CPUs and their impact on performance. Recently, I’ve been considering upgrading my workstation to better handle my rendering tasks in 3D modeling and visualization. I’ve come across various CPUs, and one that caught my attention was the Intel Core M vPro. While it’s primarily marketed for ultrabooks and mobile devices, I’m curious about its performance capabilities in a more demanding environment. Has anyone here experimented with the Intel Core M vPro for rendering, or is it best suited for lighter tasks? My current setup includes an Intel i7 with a dedicated GPU, and I’ve noticed that while my GPU handles the heavy lifting quite well, the CPU sometimes bottlenecks my workflow during complex scene rendering. I’m wondering if moving to a more robust CPU (like the latest Intel i9) might yield better results compared to experimenting with lower-power options like the Core M vPro. Additionally, I’d love to hear about your experiences with other CPUs in the context of rendering performance. Are there specific models that you feel strike a great balance between power consumption and rendering speed? I’ve also read that the Intel Core M vPro offers advanced security features and remote management capabilities, which could be beneficial for team environments. However, if the performance is lacking for rendering purposes, it might not be worth considering. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences. Let’s help each other make informed choices!
