  1. Hi, I've got Backburner to work on my two computers. For the sake of this they're called Comp 1 the main machine, and Comp 2, my slave machine. The problem is when Comp two is rendering its own strips, there are materials and Vray proxies missing. For the proxies I've tried pointing Comp 2 to Comp 1's export folder through the Configure User Paths, didn't work, so to get around this I copy all the necessary proxies manually from Comp 1 to Comp 2's own export folder, that works. Regarding materials, I've shared the material folder on Comp 1 so that Comp 2 can see it, didn't work and I can't get round this. There's loads of tuts about setting up Backburner but I can’t find anything on setting up efficient correct paths for materials and Proxies. If anyone knows of a tutorial or has a failsafe technique can you let me know please. Many thanks.
  2. Hi all, I'm using Rebus Render Farm and have'nt seemed to be able to figure out a problem. There's a couple of 3D Max/Vray proxies I didn't name with the .vrmesh extension. When using the render farm it requires me to rename the proxies, which are in the 'export'folder, with that very extension which I've done. I then reset the path to the amended files using the asset tracker. All seems straight forward but the Asset tracker still won't accept the renamed proxy. I've spoken to Rebus but they cant help, am I missing s trick, many thanks.
