1. Hi guys, I'm recently trying to optimalize vray setUp for fastening the render, but keeping adecvate quality of result(mainly noise reduction) I'm rendering pretty simple scene (image) but render time is reeeally long (for this example it was more than 10hours) - it's unbelievable...and what more, after 10 hours it's always making problem with some materials, specially reflections are going totally wrong/slow I have sketchUp 17 and vRay 3.4, using almost defaults -brute force like primary, and light cache like secondary please, i need some help with it, i'm hopeless
2. Hello. I'm using Vray for 3dsMax2010. I was going to compose CG on a photograph, so I created a plane to receive shadow and reflection and GI of the CG, and it set a matte object from a Vray properties, and render it. I seemed to receive both reflection and GI properly visually. but it was only a shadow when it watched an alpha channel. How can I do? attached image: Vray properties settings http://img10.hostingpics.net/pics/864850Upload01.png rendered image http://img10.hostingpics.net/pics/949907Upload02.png alpha channel http://img10.hostingpics.net/pics/162607Upload03.png Thanks
3. I am trying to show more reflections on a chrome material. I have an hdri map in the environment slot. In the attached image the sphere shows the hdri reflection perfectly, but the rectangle only shows the reflection of the sphere and not the environment. How can I make the chrome on a flat surface reflect more?
4. Hello, I am trying to achieve a more reflective chrome on a flat surface. I have an HDRI map in the environments slot. In the attached image the sphere reflects the hdri map perfectly, but the rectangle only reflects the sphere? In the background I cannot see the HDRI image either? Can someone explain a way to see more reflection on the flat surfaces of the rectangle? Thank you
