  1. Do you guys own any of the volumes and if so, which ones? Is it a case of if you've seen one you've seen them all? I can only afford 2 or 3 volumes at the moment and I wasn't sure whether to get the latest 3 or get earlier ones if they are better. The reason I want to buy them is to find inspiration when it comes to interior composition and scene decoration/styling. Here's a link to one of them: https://www.amazon.com/Interior-Design-Review-Andrew-Martin/dp/3832732713
  2. I come from a gaming background (BFA, Game Production) and like doing it sometimes BUT... It turns out that my passion is arch vis. I've been at it for a while now and I realize that it's time for me to take another leap in skill level. Here is my site: http://www.craigmonroe.com/home.html Also, what do you think will help me get my skills up? I'm a 3DS Max and V-Ray user.I know I need to learn the graphite modeling tools, organic modeling and more about post-production Photoshop work. On Polycount I wasn't generally well received and some users baasically said I'm very amature-ish. What do you think?
  3. Just started using Fox Render Farm. Pretty cheap, fairly quick to set up and fairly quick customer support. But... once you've submitted a job, even with a support dude chatting on Skype, there is NO chance of knowing whether your render will take 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 10 hours. No estimated time of delivery whatsoever. Is this normal when using render farms?
