The Main Buddha Hall will be an historically accurate, but a larger (10,000 square foot) rosewood timber replica of the famous Big Fo Guang Shan Temple, a UNESCO designated heritage Tang Dynasty Chinese Buddhist temple constructed 1150 years ago and still standing. The wood beams, wooden structure and stone elements have been traditionally crafted by the renowned artisans of Ningbo, and shipped to the work site in Canada.
