  1. Hi all... When i am rendering out an image it seems that select surfaces are coming out blotchy. Dont think its a subdiv issue since there are surfaces that are fine. I am using: 3Ds Max 2010 Vray 2.00.01 Adaptive subdivision /w Catmull-Rom Primary bounce - Irrandiance Map 1.0 preset high Secondary bounce - Light cache: subdivs 1000 sample size 0.02 I tried with Mitchell-Netravali as well, same result. Its possible the model might be messed up (its imported from sketchup 8). The geometry is a little complex since these are construction drawings, but it seems to be good / correct. If anyone has any advise aside from the geometry it would be helpful :-D Thanks, image attached.
