Hi guys! Long time no post!
Anyway, I have finally been contracted to do my first animation. Its a place in Iowa, with a very distant horizon line. Its going to include some areal shots, and I was hoping to use some fog to shroud that horizon line. I have attached a shot of the type of camera angle I am talking about, although its not finalized at all.
On to the problem: I have tried stills with the fog, and it looks great, but when I go to try to use vRaySP4's new Irrmap/LC prepass and rendering modes, my frame times skyrocket from 10 mins to 2 hours. I was wondering if anyone else has successfully used EnviroFog with that animation mode. I can't figure out if its kinda incompatible, or if I am doing something idiotic.
Any thoughts on this issue? I'll be sure to update if I finally find a solution/ answer to my troubleshooting.
Thanks gang!
