mbarouk
Nice model and lighting. I have a feeling that you could improve the following: - try to use different materials in different parts of the house - you have too much reflections on your glass windows, may be show some of the interior and/or curtains. - chairs at the pool are identical and lined, try moving/rotating them and add more details These are just my feelings which I think might help improve it. DennisHolland
That is a very clean render Eduardo. I think there's not much to improve anymore man. It's a very clean design & render but okay...you've asked for it: To give it a little 'used' look, try to have some dirt or wet spots on the ramp around the bath (correct me if i use the wrong word for the grey around the bath) give all long-chairs a little kick so they're not lined up anymore (just a touch) and throw in a towel, anywhere you want. To get really picky, I'd say pull that treeshadow map, if it is one, through photoshop and feather or blur it out a bit. Do me one little favor, no people in it! What I should do now? I'd make one long-chair wet, slap a towel on it and make a trail of footsteps approaching the camera with a couple of opacitymaps so it looks like the one who takes the photo just stepped out of the pool and took a pic just yet. Want some help with the opacitymaps? Give me a spline of the grey around the pool... Again, i like the render but I know exactely what you mean with getting things done after the job is closed. I have a thread somewhere in the w.i.p section where I've wracked up a very clean render in to a dirty ol' bastard a few weeks ago. Dennis
JamesTaylor
brilliant for 5 hours work. i think you need to soften the shadows cast by the tree onto the edge of the swimming pool. also looking at your other shadows it seems to cast in the wrong direction. you might want to make it look more like it cast by a tree thats not in view and match its direction to the rest of them. how have you created the grass? it looks really good, is it straight out of the render or have you postprocessed it? DelfoZ
about night, First try to put your sky color equal as the background color, i mean a little blue/red/orange or so. cuz ur imagen look too gray use a little yellow in ut outdoor spots same in the interior, maybe in the interior a litle orange . Seems like you are using a Direct light as sun, but the Sun is in the other direction. try to put a very low sun with more blur shadows and put back the house, where the background sun is tight now. or just dont add the sun/dusk light just keep the sky light.
