Arnold Sher
Hi Roland, Couple of things that i think you should look at.. I think when it comes to mappng(texture) your building is flat as a pancake. In reality that almost never happens. You are mapping your building the way you think that it happens rather than mapping it the way you observe it. In the studio the way we teach our guys is to go through loads of pictorial material of buildings, put up copies above their desktops and keep looking at them. I think also your lighting source, as a rule of thumb, works well when you put it behind the camera. Stay away from RPC vegetation in the foregrond. Even though it is tempting to use it is also as plastic as it gets and hardly ever gets you the results that you want to achieve. My suggestion would be to use something from ImageCel 2d stuff. Good quality and fairly reasonable prices... Something rather strange is happenning with your tiling in the bottom left hand corner. Also your grass is tiling as well and i would look at that too... I guess that should get you going... Keep going at it, it will come... L8r
