mohamedberry
i tried to render the shot twice and i noticed that the holes stay in thier places, i also tried to recalculate FG & GI but still cant get rid of it !! thought it might be missed pixels that MRays didnt calculate in the GI or FG but now its in every render i do
ihabkal
Salam Mohamed, it seems lige photons errors? try different numbers of photons. by the way the guys at work make great renderings with Mental Ray but I don't like that renderer. it takes a long time to make it look good. wassalam
mohamedberry
salam ihab i'll try it out but i think it wont solve the problem, i think if u knew what you are doing you wont take a long time to get a "looking good" render, guess you'll have to practice more to get there

voltaire_ira
that would be a fg problem especially f you're using a saved one.might be wise to exit max then reopen.or try this one, start a new max scene then apply the same g.i. settings and merge in the original file. start rerendering, im pretty sure those black spots will disappear. that happenens to me sometimes.
