djbob
Hi fellow CGArchitects. Could someone please tell me because I have tried to look everywhere for the answer... can you view Vray Materials in the viewport as you can with standard ones (the little blue and white checked box in material editor) because mine is greyed out. I have selected Vray in the assign render and material editor bit already. My brain is really hurting trying to work it out!! If not how do you know when your textures are correct or do you just trial and error!?

Gabriella_A
Naturally you can But you have to go under the map tag... only there the "show map in viewport" can be cheked. For example, if you have a texture in the diffuse map, click the "M" button to the right of the slot, and voilà, you can check on/of the "view map" button Bye Gabriella
djbob
Wonderful! Yes you need to go a level down in material editor and the blue and white box becomes availible - thanks a lot
