3dred
dear all, red here. I am finishing a project for a client and am not pleased with the lighting. Thus far it's distorting the color of the walls enough to wash them out and I'm working on finding the most efficient technique I can to resolve the issue. I have 4 ambient lights in the scene as opposed to the myriad of spot lights I used to have in it. I'm using Maya, but this should be mostly inconsequential. Thanks for any and ll help. Y'all take care. -tcb
JamesTaylor
i don't use maya so can't really help, but i think adding an example image of the problem and a screen shot of your settings will help others in helping you
jvlive
not familiar with maya either, but in max ambient lights really wash out colors if used in the same intensity as "normal" lights
