Jeff Mottle
Following up on last year's huge success, CGarchitect.com is hosting the 2nd annual Architectural 3D Awards to be awarded at this year's SIGGRAPH Event in August. The Awards Competition is open to everyone in the Architectural Visualization industry to highlight the best imagery and animations done in 2004/2005. If you have any questions about the awards or the submission process please post them here. http://www.cgarchitect.com/3dawards/

Crazy Homeless Guy
i think this is an awards ceremony similar to the awards for best commercial of the year, or best product of the year, ect... this case it is best arch visual or animation of the year. so anything you produced within the previous year is eligible. silviapalara
I have a couple of questions about the competition, and if they sound too dumb, please be patient with me, I am fairly new to the architectural visualization industry. 1) About the images, do they have to come from an actual commercial project or can they come from a personal project? 2) Do the images have to be entirely original and new or can they be based on existing buildings? 3) If images can be based on existing buildings, do you expect the buildings to be rendered as they are, or can we modify them, or both? Thanks.

Jeff Mottle
Are there prizes involved? There will be a trophy awarded for the winner of each category as well as the prestige of having won this award. Last year's winners were featured in at least one magazine. My code: Other PC: src="fileflow.jpg" width="142" height="77" border="0"> Explain this?
