Richard McCarthy
http://www.guru3d.com is also good. I personally favours nvidia based card over ATI, as ATI always seems to be spotty with drivers, stability problems, another thing, they don't push out new drivers as FAST as nvidia. (meaning, they don't work as hard GeForce FX5600 Ultra?.. arg. don't buy it. It' SLOWER than GeForce 4 Ti4200 and cost twice as much. I would say it's the worst buy you can get. Ti4200 runs FASTER than FX5600. Get a Ti4200 if you are on a bargain hunting. But from reading your post, I gather you really want a good gaming card, so, I would recommend GeForce FX5900 ULTRA. You won't go wrong with that. Compatibility wise, and it's the fastest card out there. I think the best advice I can give you right now, is to either buy a Ti4200 or wait for a bit until NEXT geForce 6 comes out (when nVidia iron out all their problems with current line of fX cards) Now, is really at a junction point of the graphic card business, nvidia and ATI choose to got "WIDE" on shaders, while performance (poly pushing) development are sacrificed. -RM
