suggestions please

On lobby scene, which was done in max with radiosity and ies lights, i've been asked to supply a second shot with the camera rotated 180 degrees. Now i'm facing a store front (glass) and will have to deal with the sunlight in the scene as well. What would be the recommended way to achieve the sun though the window (with a little white out) without loosing the interior lighting effects, as happens when log. exterior dayl. is checked with an ies sun outside. PS. i remembered a great tut on this but can't find it ...THX in Advance KZ
