jared_1978
Hi I have a real issue with a rendering of a building. I have two lights in the scene, the skylight and an omni giving me shadows. The problem is that the shadows appear to be jumping slightly, like they are offset from the model. There are light areas where they should be in shadow. I am posting two images that shows this problem. There areno floating parts of the model everything intersects surfaces and so on. The omni settings have 0.6 intensity, area shadows on, under advanced effects the Affect surface rollout has contrast set at .5 and soften diff. edge: 50. Object shadows have the density set at .8 I have tried removing the skylight to see if this would fix the problem in case the lights were interacting in a strange manner but the problem was still there. Please could someone help. I have to animate around the building so photoshop is not an option. Thanks in advance Jared
ksampath
hai, check the bias settings in shadow map parameters... reduce it to .1 or .01 it depends on whether your units are in meter, millimeter, feet... sam
STRAT
or even change the bias to
