Alpenshiva
Hello, my question is close to the renderfarm. But I only have a single workstation with max 6. Is it possible to render several single, but different camera views of one scene in a row? I have created a scene in one file and have defined 6 camera views. Now I would like to tell max to render every single view, save it and render the next camera view and so on over night. Thank you for your help in advance! dimopoulos_d
Yes, you can do this with backburner. Run backburner manager. Submit jobs by checking "net render", and when you finish, run backberner server. Check max user reference for more details...
quizzy
Or download my Camera animator script from my website. If you haven't animate the lights you can use this script. It generates a new animated camera along all your camera positions.
Alpenshiva
Hello guys, thank you for your help! Michiel, your animator works great and is easy to use. Unfortunately, I have one camera out of 6 with a near clipping. I think this is not supported in your script? Hello from Innsbruck, Harald! Bruce Hart
You can also do this with Video Post. Add a scene event (Camera View) and then add an image output event. You can do this as many times as you like in a sequential list. Doing it this way allows you to output a single view or a number of animation frames. Hope this helps
