supaslims
Hi, i am relatively new but inthusiastic about this industry and i have a question. How do you guys work with the architects designs? Do they supply you with their design files eg autocad, microstation etc then you import into your favourite 3d app? or do they supply you with elevation floorplans etc. Or are there other processes. Any feedback greatly appreciated! cheers
Reitveld
YES. well... it does depend on the client but they will give you anything from full CD documents all the way to a hand drawn sketch on a napkin
Cesar R
I usually request a "miniplan" and a CD copy of the ACAD files. Althoug one time I worked with on a project in which the client didn't really know what he wanted and gave me verbal descriptions most of the time.. what a pain.
