andymcnair
Hi, Can anyone please recommend a good book which focuses on art theory geared towards architectural imagery, composition and colour? Doesn't necessarily have to be CG based. Thanks, Andy
oliviercampagne
hey, I recently bought the book " Envisioning architecture - Drawings from The Museum of Modern Art " , i think you can find it at http://www.thamesandhudson.com It's a really nice overview of how architecture, drawings/views has been approached... sorted by architects. It is more or less a kind of catalogue, not an essay. Problably it's not exactly what you are looking for but it's nice to have it. cheers Olivier
Aaron2004
"A pattern Language" is an excellent book. It features hundreds of short chapters that start from how to properly lay out a whole city down to the intricacies of trim in a house. It is made very well...even though it is about 40 years old, it still has excellent theory. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0195019199/qid=1118189579/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/103-0352457-9775835?v=glance&s=books&n=507846 Aaron
