MacOS has Rosetta which is an emulation for Mac Software to run under Intel Proccessors !! But Windows XP runs natively on Intel Proccessors , This problem could be solved when you install a Universal Binary MacOS Version of your software !! And it'll skyrocket the results !! AJLynn Posted May 18, 2006 Author Share Posted May 18, 2006 No no, you misunderstand. I used a Universal Binary version. The MacOSX scores are a good bit better than the Windows scores. What's odd is how much advantage OSX picked up from the last time I did this on a slightly slower computer, and how the Windows test can vary. Makes me wonder whether Windows is doing everything correctly with things like Speedstep and the video card, which has a similar technology.
