Bugga_Guy
I heard that Ortho and Polar are back in Viz2006 is this the same for Max 7? Our office switched our Viz license to max in order to make use of particles and texture features so I have to make due with max - but having ortho and polar tools would be a gift from the heavens. Anyone know?
abicalho
MAX 7.5 has Ortho and Polar back. Or, when creatign splines, use the Shift (or Ctrl) key to constrain the spline.

Bugga_Guy
Okay Real Dumb Question, Where can you download max 7.5 extension? We been looking around the Autodesk website and there is nothing that we can find. Our admin says that he can't figure out where to get it. It never came with our purchase - is that something we have to talk with our distributor?

Bugga_Guy
Is it just me who is the only one here who is concerned about ortho and polar? Anyone? I ended up finding the buttons by using adding buttons to my current panels, however I notice that when activated they do nothing, they don't snap to anything nor do they constrain a line. Does anyone know how to use the Ortho and Polar buttons again? This is super important as I do all my modeling within Max and by using Ortho and Polar helps me be very accurate as possible. I even went to the Max disscussion forum and it seems that nobody can figure this out - so I know I am not the only one scratching my head.
