Tim Nelson
Anybody who hasn't seen this movie yet and wants to improve their eye for rendering, definitely needs to see it. Almost every shot is a masterpiece! I'm not a big fan of musicals, but this was actually a good one. But to me, the best part was just looking at each scene and soaking it all in. Reminds me a lot of Olivier's work. Anyways, I just thought I would suggest that before I forgot. There are probably a lot of movies that have equally as good of cinematography, so maybe its just that I'm starting to look more now than I used to. Brian Cassil
I'll have to check it out... especially since I am a fan of good musicals.
IC
I can't watch that after seeing Kevin Spacey singing on a TV chat show. I was brought up listening to the original (among many others) and I can't believe he thinks done a good job. Bloody awful! What I did see at the weekend though was 'House of Flying Daggers'. Now that's cinematography! The use of colour is incredible-even better than 'Hero'.
