MongoMan
Is there a modifier that allows/saves seperate vertex selections of the same object on the stack .? For example imagine you have made an editable poly like a five pointed star and you want to attatch a seperate parray or pflow to each one of those five tip of the star vertices, you might try choosing selected vertices as your particle emmitter that is fine when working with one parray but how do you attatch a seperate parray to each one? as when choosing selected vertices as the emmitter it will emitt from the same place as the previous parray + the newley selected vertce Thanks for any pointers
vizfx
This is a builtin feature, I think even from the MSDOS version of 3DS Max (so is prety old). You can give different names to vertex selection groups and after that you have the posibility to chose from a list wich group do you want to select. This optoin is incorporated in the toolbar, look at the 3DS MAX window description from help. Mihai
