Tim Saunders
Today one of the architects at my firm asked if there was a way to place the lights from a lighting consultant in my scene. He mentioned that in hte past (before I worked here) we have given our model to the consultant and they have put their lights in hte scene so you can see the actual effects of their lights. The problem is that they cannot render the quality that we can. I heard there is a way I can somehow plug in the ies data from the lighting guys into the photometric lights in viz. Is anyone aware of anything like this, and what the proccess might be?
Jaguar lover
There is! Just change the distribution from "diffuse" to "web" in the photometric light panel. Then you can load the ies-file under "web parameters"-roll out for the same light. hope this is what you was asking for.. /Kent
