Jelle
Hi Does anyone know if there will be support of photometric light in future releases, such as the possibily to use IES profiles in your lights? Something I'm really missing, and the only reason why I'm thinking about maybe not converting but buying VIZ. Of course I would prefer to stick to Cinema and save the money. Also the possibility to import dwg file format. Of course there's DXF which I hear works fine if 3D but not so well if 2D.
doujay888
Yep, you can use ies profiles for your lights in max 5,6 and 7. However with cinema, I have no idea. Normally with max using ies and photometric you have to use the radiosity setting. For vray it works well, no solutions required unlike radiosity. try this link below for ies lights http://www.erco.com/ YOOO!
