digi_archi
I am using Radeon 9700 Pro and I am just using it's default setting. Is there better setting or better driver to run Max and CAD? I only get up to 75 Hertz as screen refresh rate. I thought I could get up to 85 Hertz or something. Please help. Thanks.
Greg Hess
Maximum hertz is determined both by your video card and your monitor. If your hertz only goes up to 75, try reducing the resolution your working at. Then of course, if your working on an LCD with a DVI-I connection, hertz really doesn't have much meaning to begin with. What monitor are you using?
digi_archi
Thanks Greg. I am using Sony CPD-G520. I have one more question about monitor. I get these two fine line across the monitor. They are running horizontally and very thin. Probably one pixel. How can I get rid ot them?

For big monitors, having the tube cover the whole field in one pass is just two much. The tube devides it to 3 areas and what you see is the border between them. Get an LCD... Greg Hess
Biga is both correct and incorrect... Not all monitors are built the same way. The two lines are a symbol of a triniton display. Trinitrons use a technology know as aperature grill's as opposed to an invar shadow mask. Of course this is probably hella confusing, but I'll just go and post an answer for you . http://computer.howstuffworks.com/question406.htm
