twofoot
Hi all. After many years as a television editor/designer with my own firm, I am seriously considering making the move to becoming an architect and setting up my own company. I am already quite familiar with the various CAD software packages through my hobby interests, so I feel I already have a leg up on making the move. I am also well versed in 3D animation which would be another bonus to my clients. My questions are these: what sort of salary is "typical" for a one man shop? How much training will be involved? I will also assume I need to get certified in kitchen design, etc. I'm based in the northeastern USA, and I'm just hitting the big 4-0. Thanks Chris PS-you can see some of my early CAD work here: http://www.hon30.org/drawgal.htm
