DAN212222 Posted July 1, 2005 Share Posted July 1, 2005 hi guys hope your all well..... im currently developing some ideas for a client who is involved with the english heritage trust..... the scheme is to develop hytlon castle in sunderland... the client would like to incorporate new media into the scheme.... thier words were.... interactive lighting, holographic and interactive visual displays.... i know this has got done be done at a very high level due to the involvment of the trust.... and was wondering if anyone know of any listed buildings been redeveloped with a high tech outcome to them.... i know this doesnt make much sense but i havent got much info to go on at the moment.... cheers for anything you guys can help with dan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If it's the latter, I'd suggest going on over to http://www.archinect.com and posting some questions about high tech installations - there are tons of references. derijones Posted July 2, 2005 Share Posted July 2, 2005 Hi These guys did a refurb job on a listed 16th century barn in Yorkshire with audio visual stuff etc : Look at Wycoller Visitor Centre. http://www.hakes.co.uk/flash.html From the blurb on it in "New Architecture in Britain" it looks like the additional stuff needs to be free standing and not damage the original fabric of the building.
