It's a nice image!

It looks a little blurry. You have to go into the "render globals" and change the quality from preview to production. That will clean up the towers to look more sharp like the foilage. Also try making the shadows darker. Nice sky.

It looks good - just keep working on the render settings, and lights.

ur lighting needs improvement

i hope ur a newbie

That's harsh man. But there's a point behind it - the lighting levels on the various objects are different - in the latest version the sky and some of the trees are too dark for the gate house and the rest of the trees, you need to get it so they all look like they're under the same sun or it won't be very realistic. In some ways I think your first image was actually the best one, you need to get back some of the softer tone it had, and scale back the complexity of the use of plants - half the varieties you have in here would be sufficient, and you don't need the tree in the foreground, it takes some focus off the architecture.

Importing autocad files to maya is no big deal actually :)

there's a plug-in that comes with maya, and you just need to activate it: go in maya to window- settings/preferences - plug in manager

and activate there the dwgTranslater.mll

now you can import dwg and dxf files by simply chosing file - import...

the only thing you really need to take care of is the scale you are importing in, for the case you're not using the same units in autocad in maya.

I usually import just lines from autocad, I've never tried it with autocad-solids. Also, it's a good idea to clean up the original drawing for the case it's very complex and contains stuff that you dont really need in Maya, like measurements or some blocks.

I dont really know any good tutorial for this and it sometimes also takes me few tries to get it the way i want but in general it's really not a big deal so you can definitely figure it out by trying a bit around ;-)

It looks like your "sun" light is about 50 feet from the ground. I'm not familiar with Maya, but is there another type of light you can use for the sunlight?

Your colors are a bit strong as well - mainly in your landscaping. Personally, I would reduce the saturation and decrease the brightness of the plants. I think the amount of landscaping is okay, but it's calling too much attention to itself.

Your asphalt has a repeating pattern. Can you find a better/larger sample? It could also benefit from some tire traffic marks.
