Msamir
First for the mods i didnt know where to place this thread so i put it in the max forum. Now what i'm facing is that i'm trying to light a scene using omni lights ,when i render the lights are turned off ,all of them, the scene is only lighted (is it a word ? ) when i setup a physical sky or sunlight only , any ideas for solving this ?? Have you visited the Maxwell forum or read any of the documentation that comes with it? These are very basic questions, that's the only reason why I ask. Maxwell doesn't use max lights. It also can't render mat previews.

Devin Johnston
She's right you need to look through the documentation that comes with maxwell and just spend some time on the forum. Maxwell is probably the easiest renderer to understand, if you spend 1 hour reading you'll know about 90% of what there is to know.
