spyder2411
Been lookin through all the tuts online and can't come up with a solution. I'm doing a architectural rendering and for some strange reason every material I place on the roof bleeds itself to death. For instance, when I put black asphalt shingles on the roof, the render out to a light grey color. Single MR direct (multiplier set @ 1), skylight, GI, & FG all in place. Note exposure control stock Logarithmic. Roof looks a bit strange due to the roof lines at this angle, any suggestions on the tiling would be helpful too! Any suggestions or comments would be extremely appreciated.
jucaro
Try using Architectural materials if you still find using MR materials a bit puzzling

Each roof face could be planar mapped so everything 'tiles' right.
