schmoron13
I use Vegas 5...and I love it. A disclaimer: I started with DAW (digital Audio Workstations) and so i prefer the GUI in vegas to that of adobe. In terms of features, I love how straightforward vegas is. Between common sense and the help files, any question is quickly answered. The program feels more hands on (akin to max vs autoCad). Personally, in using Premiere when I worked (before going back to school), I couldn't do it without After Effects (AE). Vegas feels more like a combination of the two. There are drawbacks though: It doesn't have nearly the user-base that Adobe has, so finding help and tutorials can be harder. Also, I have some issues with rendering out in quicktime, and especially in DivX (crashes the computer). I use it a lot at school for doing quick animations or student films (architectural related) hope this helps. Also, any of them will do the trick. Jeff Mottle
Vegas all the way! I've used both and Vegas is MUCH more stable. All of the video professionals I know use VEGAS...not premiere.
