The lighting is confusing - too evenenly distributed. Is it coming from behind the camera as well?

Personally, I don't care for blurry reflections unless done really well. In my observations, most wood floors either have a high gloss polish or are almost matte. Metal cabinets would be more likely to have a blurry reflection similar to the way you've got, but that's still odd looking. I'd either turn off the blurry, or lessen significantly. Or you could make it more matte, but then you rely on good shadow distribution and I didn't see any under the piano.

Could just be me, but once all these renderers had blurry as a little setting, now everyone is putting it in and cranking it up. Looks distracting, people can understand a mirror reflections, but when it looks like rough water it gets a little confusing.

I think its a great image. whats missing is detail in the ceiling. since the atble is so detailed with silverware and galsses etc. the ceiling needs to be equallt detailed. try adding some light fixtures and AC diffusers as mentioned earlier.

hi kippu,

well the problem with ur scene is all mentioned by other people. u need to set the position of the primary light because currently it looks to be coming from behind the camera also so if there is any light behind the camera then u have to decrease amount of intensity and also make the shadows more prominent becasue its a day scene and the primary light source is the sun. also as mentioned by other guys the shadows are missing in the dinning table area so work on that also....

see ya
