Radiosity - Trouble Meshing Interior Objects

This thread is kind of a continuation of the following thread:

http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/showthread.php?t=11330

I am now using 3DS MAX version 7.5's new adaptive subdivision to assist me with Radiosity meshing for my interior scene. When it comes to making the empty space look good, I can get there using my current workflow. What I am having trouble doing, is adding interior objects and getting them to mesh correctly so that they can cast proper shadows and be up to the same quality. I have prepared a simple scene file to illustrate my problem and will gladly send it to whomever is willing to take a look at it. It's about 290K zipped up and it is a MAX ver. 7.5 file.

Basically, the problems I have been running into from the previous thread mentioned above, are still happening with respect to interior objects. I have gone over their properties to make sure they wern't excluded from anything and did not have any unique meshing properties set.

The sample scene file I have is a simple room with a vase on the floor and a light on the wall. When I run my meshing parameters onm the entire scene, I can't get these objects to cast shadows correctly. They currently look like they are floating. (Yes they have cast shadows set in the properties box)

If there are any takers, please let me know. Thanks - Mega

I may have to take you up on the upload offer abicalho. I don't have access to ftp currently and I don't think I can upload just any old file to the forums can I? Perhaps you could message me your email? The file is 300k zipped and it is MAX version 7.5.

Thanks for offering - I hope this pans out. Mega
