Fausto
mmm ok good lighting dinamics, but the grain...a problem of rend time? i'm curious. i'll try maxwell too soon, see yaa
Tim Saunders
same complaint. the noisy grain look. not sure if that's something your going for or not. light coming in from door is extremely stong. almost like a ufo is parked outside the door. other than that i really like it., especially back in hte hallway. i like the contrast in lighting. enigma
that's how maxwell does the job, the longer you set the render time, the lesser grains ud get. thanks guys i'll post an update with the materials soon.
mohamedberry
hey guys, i tried maxwell a month ago and i didnt like the results, its all grainy and i can get a better result with same render times using MRay... to lose the grains you'll have to increase your render times and trace depth, and the materials should be adjusted too (note that adding glass to the scene increases the grains ALOT). what is special about maxwell is the ease of use i think, thats all, so i guess its better for beginners more than Pro's
enigma
i'd definitely agree mohamed....in maxwell you'd only have to setup a few things including the materials (but applying materials can be very tricky) then hit render...just trying out maxwell for added arsenal i guess...but i'm still waiting for the their final version....
