carlangas Posted July 19, 2005 Share Posted July 19, 2005 Hi all, Just resumed work this morning after the power was restored to much of the state after emily payd us a visit on sunday. anyway, I have a problem with an exterior. i have the walls of a house with only 2 channels for different textueres, i need to apply a disp. map to one of them and asign the corresponding map channel number. then when i render the whole entity doesnt render at all, everything else in the scene renders. if i delete the vray disp mod. it renders. how do i fix this??? thanks a lot Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

carlangas Posted July 20, 2005 Author Share Posted July 20, 2005 I was able to make it work, but the displacement was applyed to the whole object. I thought that if you specified a chan in the disp mod, it would only apply it to that particular channel number in a multi-material object.
