ecastillor Posted July 20, 2005 Share Posted July 20, 2005 im placing 2 vray light on my scene...one from the window and one from the ceiling, and im getting this problem.....anyone know how to get rid of those strange lines? im using only vray mats....please help...have to deliver renders today! TommyJ Posted July 25, 2005 Share Posted July 25, 2005 I think it could have been an anomaly caused by the UVW mapping on that part of the wall. If a pattern repeats itself a lot (like very tightly squashed brick lines etc) it can cause strange patterns like the ones you have, when viewed from certain angles. I've had the same problems rendering a garden scene where there were areas of wooden decking. In my case I just changed the camera angle slightly.
