MegaPixel
On the attached image, the edges of the light hitting the floor appear aliased and not smooth or straight. This is a Radiosity Solution with a Daylight System using ReGather. I deleted the Glass on the Windows to let the Light come through. I didn't know if for some reason, the lack of perfect geometry was causing the edges? Thanks - Mega
enigma
hi sir david, if ur using shadow maps, u can increase the shadow map size...(i guess u knew that) but if ur using raytraced shadows turning the global ray anti aliaser on found in the render dialog could help. ecastillor
just make sure the materials being affected by the ray trace, have "use gobal settings" unchecked in the supersampling tab of the material properties, and check enable local super sampler..... have to do this if youre using a radiosity solution.... MegaPixel
When using the super sampler, which one would be appropriate for this task - Max Star or one of the others. I'm no good with super sampler settings and the last time I enabled super sampling - my rendering times doubled. Thanks guys
