William Alexander
Randy, The MR books are very good, lots of info as to what settings do what and such. The previous versions are the basics in a 'programing or scripting' for shders context. Perfect match for the 'nodal' GUI shader set up in XSI, a bit confusing for Max, though. It can be difficult to follow how shaders are connected and interact with other shaders in Max, from my experience. It's a must buy, imho. Just don't expect it to unlock all the mysteries of MR in max, unless of course you're a programmer. Which I am not LOL When you get it.... let us know what you think, maybe this revision is different. Cheers WDA
