doujay888
Here's a 4 storey Residential Building which I designed, modelled in Max 7 and rendered with Vray 1.46. It's very first Vray exterior render any C & C's are welcome. Thanks!

chuck
i would: create a direct light for the sun get rid of the noise get a better background image drop the pavement reflection give the windows some transparency and add some dirt to the pavement. displacement grass!!! vray can do it well... why are the trees blurry? what are your lighting settings? chuck
doujay888
Light Settings: I used HDRI, 1 direct Light and 1 Vray dome skylight all shadows in Vray. Trees are RPC and Cars as well. Windows are simply mappings. Frankly i don't know yet how to create a dirt effect for the road. any suggestions?
Tommy L
I dont think you should need HDRI and a dome skylight. It might be worth correcting the verticals as well. Good luck, Tom.
doujay888
You mean like using only a Direct Light as the light source, am I right? and how about the verticals kindly be specific? is it on the structure or lighting? Thanks!
scooter
I agree with Tommy here : if I understand, his remarks, both HDRI AND dome aren't necessary. Maybe use just the dome. For the verticals, I'm a partisan of the minimum pinch on the vertical prespective lines.
Tim Saunders
the vertical lines i think they are talking about is the perilax effect of your building as yoiu look up to it. this might work better on a taller building, but if you add the camera correction modifier to the camera (by selecting camera, right click, and add camera correction. ) it will keep the camera at 2-point perspective. cars look a bit smashed. is it a super wide camera lense? Larry Zasitko
Get rid of the fisheye lens! to much curvature along the road and distortion. Try to keep walls vertical by having camera and viewpoint at the same elevation. I am not a fan of buildings that look like they are leaning backwards. Only time this works is with tall building. Agree with the others on textures. Post again, be nice to see the cleaned up image. Larry
