ok....

few things u can try here.

Try Changing the floor color to dark grey to match what u want.

if ur using light tracer then the bounce should be 1 here.

if u r using any materials on the floor then u can turn down output peremeters on the material Editor.

ummm...maybe u can try max's built in exposure controls.

i am out! good luck

Ya i am already used lighttracer but the same result coming up that scene. My question is skylight without use any plugin get the result is it possible to remove bouncing on my floor. Because i am doing a animation that is the problem. Incase it is a static image i don't have any problem because i doing Photoshop to solve that.

Thanks

if i understand your question, you are using radiosity and/or global illumination, and you want to exclude the floor from the global illumination. you can exclude any object from gi by selecting the object, right clicking, and under the advanced lighting tab, click "by layer" then it will say "by object", then check "exclude from advanced lighting".

Hi thanks for ur reply. appreciate it.

I am already using radiosity for still images. but for animation, it is taking too much time for rendering. I need to minimise rendering time at the same time get that quality i am looking for. Now, if i use skylight i get that bouncing problem. how do i remove this when i use skylight? is there any way out?

thanks a ton for ur help.

Maybe I missed something, but have you been using Exposure Control? It is highly recommended that you use exposure control when using advanced lighting. Because you are using Skylight, I assumed you were and if you are not using advanced lighting, then I recommend you don't use the skylight. Anyhow, exposure control helps with the harsh "blowout" effects caused by intense light on directly lit surfaces like floors,...
