carlangas Posted July 28, 2005 Share Posted July 28, 2005 hi all, does anyone have any tips on spotting geometry (material) that causes warnings to appear in the vray message box? im getting a "material returned overbright....." and it gives me the geometry name but since I import most of my geometry from acad it all shows up as object "3dsolid". I know that it really is a material problem and not a geometry problem. is there an easier way to do this rather than start rendering without a material untill the culprit is found??? ohh,, all of my materials are vray mats. thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would be interested in hearing any hints at resolving the problem. No that the wife is on vacation I will start learning that again next week. The 'material returned overbright' is nothing more than one of your rgb values (mostly the ultimate white point) is about to wash out a bit.
