Jago_0108
Please help me with comments and critics. I just have one light in the scene but it only affects exterior and the idea is that the interiors get some light through windows too how can i do that? Viz 2005, Vray, Photoshop6. Richard McCarthy
I think the lighting looks good, maybe need a directional SUN LIGHT (spotlight) to give some hard shadow and contrast would be nice. right now it looks like it's just daylight (ambient light). The window also might need a ramp map for some reflection. The problem in the render is the modeling. It's got some strange design features, and lacking details. (down pipes, drains, weatherboard, stormwater drain, roof tiles details (at peaks) windows have no glass and any sorts of detailings, etc etc) Also why is it got a erm... grass stairs? Jago_0108
Here's a scene modified, not yet finished in detail. I'm having problems with my windows materials, the light in the scene doesn't go through them so the interior of the restaurant seems dark, what can i do so that my exterior light iluminates my interior. The glass material is Vray, the light simulating the sun is IES Sun. Thanks for your help and support.
Jago_0108
Uploaded another image so that you can see more about the concept of the facade and the restaurants name "kaskata" Again please critics and help!!!!!!!!!!
edub
Hi Jose, your last image is a great improvement! concerning the interior lighting - why don't you just add an interior light source? I don't use Vray, so excuse me if that question doesn't make sense. Even if the 'idea' is that the interior is lit by exterior light, yo can still "fake" it... You need to do something about the transition from road to sidewalk - is there no curb?
