Hey All!

This project my firm has been working on construction drawings for the last 4 months and finally they want to see a rendering. it is located next to the world trade center and was damaged on 9/11. let me know what you think.

Overall the image is good, its just when I looked at it for awhile, scale seems odd. When I look at the work area (cubical), the top of the cubical looked to me like the top of a desk. Then I looked at the doors they look way small in comparison .

What I really think you need is to really lighten up the cubicals- looks alittle gloomy, cheat light casting on the right side of pot lights, and add a person to help defy scale - maybe add some plants to cheer it up

Yeah it looks like a scene from Alice in Wonderland because of the scale issues. :)

It seems like it could be a nice space. Its a shame it has to have a huge lateral file cabinet in it. And I think the carpet detracts from how nice it could be too.

You've got some omni's in there but with no apparent source. I think you should add some more color & warmth to it. In real life, the white would not be pure white.

Then I would focus on the millwork detailing a little bit. Is it really going to be all wood? If so, make sure the grain between the different elements is not matching and running the same direction. Then throw some soft glossies on it and voila!

Thanks for the responses.

i think the reason the scale looks funny is because of the camera, its all modelled in autocad to scale. i changed the field of view of the camera and maybe overdid it (wanted to get everything in view).

thanks for the comments, i'll repost an update tomorrow
