I would like to have some help and advice from any Australian Architects here in the forum regarding studying in Australia,i would like to do Master in Architecture (Design Media),and i have found that university of Adelaide r offering a master degree in Architecture (Design Media).

Orginally i'm from egypt graduated from an egyptian university and currently working in Qatar for an Australian Company, and they don't mind to make a transfer to any of there Australia offices, they have offices in almost every part of Australia and New Zealand,so my questions would be in points to make it easier:

1.Whats the most reliable City and University that would provide a master degree in Architecture,Digital Architecture,New Design Media and Arch. Visualization Program?

2.what city would be most suitable in terms of relaible life expenses and most imporatnt relaibel and cheap accomadation?

3.would Australian Universties would accept my B.SC. degree of Architecture that i gained from egypt?...or should i go into some undergraduate program or certificate?

wish to hear from any aus. architects and visualizers

thanks in advance

Hi Yasser,

I don't know anything regarding which course is best or anything like that, but since I live in Adelaide I can tell you it is very cheap to live here, its a small city, fairly quiet but great lifestyle. You would have absolutely no problems finding accommodation either.

If you prefer a big city you'll want to be going to Melbourne or Sydney but each of these are more expensive to live, especially Sydney. I'd say once you've finished studying, these two cities would probably be better to work in simply due to the larger population/more opportunities, but I'm not sure, I did have a friend who did a number of arch viz projects here. In terms of whether the uni's would accept you, you would definitely want to contact them and ask yourself.

Hope that helped and good luck.

Regards,

Jay
