mdbassett
All attached personal project of Interior. I am using VectorWorks & Cinema 4D. Haven't got it into PhotoShop just yet. Any comments so far. I am pretty new to Cinema4D so this is an exercise to teach myself. I still have to add some detail ie. books on shelves, tv, mags on coffee table, pictures on walls etc. All comment and crits welcome. M.
Richard McCarthy
Seems kinda flat for me, due to lack of proper lighting and shadow, contrast and consistancy. The materials don't seem to have bump map and properly applied (everything seems to have same reflectance) etc. Camera angle makes it look interesting though! mdbassett
Thanks Richard, Do you think I should up my bump levels on all objects??. I know my lighing isn't great and it's something I need to improve on. Anybody comments on Cinema 4D lighting tips or techniques. The thing I have found with 3D is you need to not only have the technical know how of the computer package and product you are designing but you also need to inject an artistic approach. I suppose you could call it Technical Art. Sorry just trailing off the subject..... anyway all other comments welcome. M.
