aflack
I have my first private animation job and apart from thinking that I am seriously doing on the cheap I want to make a good impression. The client I am working for wants walls that grow out the floor along with everything else like chairs and tables. I know I can animate the height of a wall changing but there are loads of walls and what about the chairs. Is there some some of clipping plane that I can animate that will only reveal whats below a line and can I use this in Vray, also can it just do one building and not the buildings around it. Thanks for your help.
Bugga_Guy
you can do 2 things. Get the plugin grow from http://www.cebas.com Use the slice modifier and animate the slice plane up

Onslaught
Why don't you just move the model below the floor and just animate it moving up.
Ricardo Eloy
He probably does not want the roof to show first, I guess.
