jucaro
So, Is jumping from one unit to another already possible in the newest release of AutoCAD? I mean, use meters in the floorplan and then use feet/inches in the windows..so on and so forth.. Its possible in 3DS Max, and it makes me not to be able to use it that way in ACAD. Anyone with the tips?
Ricardo Eloy
You can have 2 different units on your dimensions, but I'm not sure this is what you're looking for...
bigroo
On your dimension style manager just override the current settings and use as necessary.
jucaro
Thanks, but what I meant is during the input of units in ACAD commands. Lets say the drawing is using the Imeperial units when drawing a circle (50'), then in the same drawing, you make rectangle 500mm Just like in 3DS Max. bigroo
The only way I can see just now is to change the drawing unit type on the Format command. That will work, maybe a little Laborious .
